The five towns we cover make for a varied brief. Derby is a city of engineers, suppliers and public-sector bodies, where quality systems and data matter. Chesterfield blends manufacturing, logistics and a strong service centre for north-east Derbyshire. Buxton is about visitors, hospitality, the Opera House and quarrying just outside town. Long Eaton is known for upholstered furniture, with many workshops making to order. Ilkeston is smaller and more mixed, with manufacturing, retail and a large commuter population. So digital needs range from supplier compliance and production tracking to seasonal booking systems and made-to-order furniture configurators.
Derbyshire is a comfortable drive up the M1 from Wellingborough, with Derby, Long Eaton and Ilkeston reachable in a little over an hour and Chesterfield not much beyond. Buxton takes longer across the Peak, so we plan those trips further ahead. We run the build remotely, with weekly calls, a shared project board and working previews, and we come to site for discovery, process walkthroughs and training. For engineering clients especially, seeing the shop floor or the quality office early saves a lot of rework later.
