The three places we cover are all small, and each has a particular character. Oakham is the administrative and commercial centre, with the council, the school, a market, independent retailers and a cluster of accountants, solicitors, land agents and consultancies. Uppingham is quieter, organised around its school, galleries, antique shops and Georgian ironstone streets. Cottesmore is a village rather than a town, and its economy is linked to the barracks and the surrounding farms. So digital work in Rutland tends to be about quality rather than scale: well-crafted websites, booking systems for hospitality, and portals or tools that save small teams administration time.
Rutland is close to our base. Oakham and Uppingham are well under an hour from Wellingborough, north through Kettering and Corby on the A43 and A6003, so meeting in person is easy and we are happy to do so as often as a project benefits. The build is still run remotely in a steady rhythm, with a weekly call, a shared board and previews you can click through. Because many Rutland organisations are small, we keep meetings short and focused, and we explain decisions in plain English rather than technical shorthand.
