The five towns we cover each have a distinct economy. Ipswich is the county town and port, with finance, insurance, technology, logistics and the University of Suffolk. Bury St Edmunds is a prosperous market town with brewing, sugar processing, food and tourism. Lowestoft is shifting from fishing and port activity to offshore energy services, alongside coastal tourism. Haverhill, near Cambridge, has industrial estates hosting pharmaceutical, flavourings and food manufacturers. Newmarket is dominated by racing, with trainers, studs, bloodstock sales at Tattersalls and the Jockey Club. That leads to briefs ranging from freight tooling to owner portals for racing yards.
Suffolk is within reach but not next door. Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds are about an hour and a half along the A14 from Wellingborough, while Ipswich and Lowestoft take longer, around two hours or more. We therefore run Suffolk projects remotely, with a weekly call, a shared board and staging sites to test, and travel for discovery, launch and training. For racing and farming clients we are happy to arrange visits around early mornings and busy seasons, when the real work happens.
