The five places we cover are very different. Birmingham is a large, diverse city with finance, law, creative and digital firms, universities, hospitality and a huge number of small businesses. Wolverhampton blends aerospace and automotive engineering with its university and services. Coventry combines automotive heritage, engineering research and a large student population. Dudley, in the Black Country, has manufacturers, retail around Merry Hill and heritage tourism at the Black Country Living Museum. Solihull pairs JLR and the NEC with business parks and affluent suburbs. That spread brings briefs from factory systems and supplier portals to event platforms and professional-services websites.
The West Midlands is within easy reach of Wellingborough. Coventry is about an hour via the A45, M1 and M6, and Solihull, Birmingham, Dudley and Wolverhampton are between an hour and an hour and a half. That makes it practical to meet on site for discovery, visit factories or offices and come back for testing and training. The build is run remotely with a weekly call, a shared board and staging sites. We schedule visits outside peak motorway hours where we can.
