How Versatech collects, uses, retains and protects personal information across our website and client conversations.
Versatech Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17298768, with our registered office at 1 Watson Close, Wellingborough, NN8 5UH, United Kingdom.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to. Questions about this policy, or any request relating to your personal data, can be sent to enquiries@versatech.uk.
We collect information you provide directly when you complete a form, subscribe, or communicate with us. This can include your name, email address, phone number, company and project details. We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser, operating system, referring URL and pages visited.
We use collected information to answer enquiries, provide requested services, improve our website and services, send communications with consent, meet legal obligations and protect our rights. We do not sell personal data.
We process personal data using consent where explicitly provided, legitimate interests when responding to enquiries or improving services, and legal obligation where applicable law requires it.
We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose or applicable law requires. Contact-enquiry data is normally retained for 24 months after the last interaction. Subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe.
We share data only with the providers needed to run this website and respond to you: Resend, which delivers enquiry emails, and Google Analytics, which runs only where you have accepted analytics cookies. Location pages load maps from OpenStreetMap or Google, which receive your IP address when a map is displayed. Providers are contractually required to protect that data and may not use it for their own purposes. Some of these providers process data outside the UK; those transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Depending on jurisdiction, you may be able to access, correct, delete or port personal data; restrict or object to processing; and withdraw consent. We respond to requests within one month. You can exercise any of these rights by emailing enquiries@versatech.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not use your personal data for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Essential storage supports the operation of the website and remembers your consent choice. Analytics cookies are used only with consent to understand site use. Preferences can be changed at any time on our Cookie Policy page, which explains each category in detail.
We use appropriate technical and organisational controls against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls and security review.
This policy may change as our services, providers or legal obligations evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page together with a revised effective date.
