The five places we cover pull in different directions. Stoke-on-Trent, a city of six towns, combines ceramics, gambling technology, distribution and two universities within reach, Staffordshire and Keele. Stafford, the county town, mixes power engineering, public administration and distribution. Lichfield is a small cathedral city with heritage tourism, retail and professional services. Burton upon Trent is brewing, food and logistics. Tamworth sits beside the M42 and A5 with distribution, retail and leisure, including the Snowdome. That produces very different briefs, from production and stock systems for manufacturers to booking and member tools for leisure and hospitality businesses.
Staffordshire is within easy reach. Tamworth, Lichfield and Burton are around an hour and a quarter from Wellingborough, via the A14, M6 and A38 or across by the A5. Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent are a little further up the M6. That lets us meet on site for discovery and training without it becoming a major undertaking. The build itself is remote, with a weekly call, a shared board and staging sites. For manufacturers especially, we like to see the factory floor before designing anything.
