The four places we cover each have their own story. Nottingham is a regional capital with finance, retail, creative, healthcare and technology businesses of every size. Mansfield, a former mining and textile town, now leans on retail, logistics, healthcare and manufacturing. Newark-on-Trent is a Georgian market town on the A1 and the East Coast Main Line, with agriculture, food processing, engineering and a big antiques and events trade at the showground. Worksop, in the far north, has grown as a food-manufacturing and distribution centre. So work here might be a data tool for a city fintech, a shift system for a Mansfield warehouse or a booking platform for Newark events.
Nottinghamshire is an easy day trip from Wellingborough. Nottingham and Mansfield are around an hour and a quarter up the M1, and Newark is a similar run by the A1 or A46. Worksop takes a little longer. That makes in-person workshops and site visits straightforward to fit into a project. We still run the build through a remote-first rhythm, a weekly call, a shared board and previews you can test, and we come back on site for user testing and staff training before anything goes live.
