Much of the town's private sector is professional services for a rural county: land agents, rural surveyors, agricultural accountants, family law practices and estate agents. Their clients are often farms and estates spread over many miles, so a lot of the friction is in paperwork that travels by email attachment and spreadsheet. The visitor side has a different problem. Events at the Quarry, weekend trade from the Midlands and seasonal footfall on the independent streets create peaks that a small team with a basic website and a phone line struggles to handle well.
Versatech is registered in Wellingborough, a couple of hours away via the A14 and M6 towards the M54. We don't have a Shrewsbury office and won't pretend to. Most of the build happens remotely, with regular video calls and shared staging sites. We come over for the discovery workshop, when sitting in the room with the people who do the work matters, and again around launch.
