Serving a border customer base creates its own friction. A vet practice or farm supplier may be dealing with clients registered under English and Welsh rules for livestock, grants and planning, which differ in ways that matter. Bilingual communication is expected by some customers. Rural broadband and mobile coverage in the surrounding hills is patchy, so tools that assume a constant connection can fail at the farm gate. Independent shops in the town centre, meanwhile, compete with Shrewsbury and Wrexham for weekend trade and need a presence that works hard for a small team.
Oswestry is a long way from our Wellingborough base, roughly two and a half hours across the Midlands, so we're upfront that projects here are run remotely. Planning, design, build and testing all happen online, and we travel over for a discovery session at the start and again when a system is ready to launch. For rural businesses, we'll also spend some of that visit seeing where staff actually use the tools.
