For a town of manufacturers, the pressure points are often on the shop floor and in the dispatch bay. Plastics moulders, metal fabricators and automotive suppliers work to tight customer schedules, and many still plan production in spreadsheets that one person understands. Warehouses need shift rotas, pick rates and delivery slots to line up. Meanwhile, suppliers into larger manufacturers are asked for traceability records and quality data that are slow to produce by hand. The heritage and events trade around Ironbridge and the International Centre faces a separate problem: bookings and ticketing that don't talk to each other.
Our base is in Wellingborough, and Telford is one of the easier Shropshire trips for us, via the A14, M6 and M54. That said, we don't have a local office. Projects run remotely for most of their length, with shared boards and regular calls. We come to site for discovery, because seeing a production line or a dispatch bay in person tells us things a video call won't, and again for go-live.
