Woodside is where most of the digital friction sits. Family-owned manufacturers and distributors, many run by the second or third generation, operate on long-serving systems that no longer talk to their websites, their customers' portals or their own warehouse. Trade customers expect online ordering and stock visibility that a phone-and-fax culture cannot give them. Newer warehouses need labour and dock planning at scale. Visitor businesses near the Downs deal with weather-driven demand that can surge or vanish overnight. The town centre, meanwhile, is working to give people reasons to come back.
Dunstable is about an hour south of our Wellingborough base, most easily down the M1 to the new link road. We run projects remotely, with short weekly reviews, and drive down for the moments that need a room: walking a factory floor on Woodside, testing a picking screen with warehouse staff, or supporting a launch. We have no local office, and we would rather tell you that than imply one.
