Manufacturers and engineering firms in the town tend to feel friction on the factory side of the office. Orders arrive by email and portal, production is planned on a whiteboard or spreadsheet, and dispatch paperwork is typed up again at the end. Motorsport suppliers work to race calendars that leave no slack when a part is late. Food businesses carry allergen, traceability and audit records that must be complete every time. Distribution sites near the motorway juggle bookings, driver slots and proof of delivery. Most of these problems come down to the same data being keyed in three or four times.
Our base in Wellingborough is about an hour from Banbury, across via Brackley and the A43, which makes regular visits realistic. We deliver the build remotely with short weekly reviews, and come over for discovery days on the shop floor, user testing with the people who will run the system, and launch. There is no Versatech office in Banbury. We work from Wellingborough and are straightforward about that.
