The friction differs by district. Aerospace and engineering firms at Daedalus work in regulated supply chains where traceability, approvals and staff competence must be evidenced for every job. Boatyards and marine businesses on the Hamble juggle berth bookings, lift-outs, winter storage and repair work around tides and weather, often from a harbour office with a diary and a whiteboard. Service firms on the business parks supply larger organisations in both neighbouring cities and need to look and operate like bigger suppliers. And with housing growth planned at Welborne north of the M27, builders and trades face a busier pipeline.
Our office is in Wellingborough, a little over two hours up the A34 and M40, so Fareham projects run remotely. We schedule visits for the discovery stage, which for a boatyard or hangar means walking the site, and for launch. The rest of the time we work through regular calls, shared project boards and a test system your team can try out between tasks.
