Fresh produce runs on hours, not days. A packhouse may receive retailer orders late in the evening for dispatch early next morning, adjust crews around weather and harvest, and track every pallet to its field of origin. Much of the seasonal and permanent workforce speaks a first language other than English, which makes clear, multilingual rotas, training and safety communication a real operational need. Hauliers juggle depot booking slots and temperature records. And the town's smaller businesses, from independent shops to agricultural services, compete for attention with limited time for marketing or admin.
We are based in Wellingborough, about an hour and a half away via Peterborough and the A16. Delivery is mostly remote, but for a packhouse, store or yard we always want to see operations in person, ideally during a busy shift, so discovery happens on site. We come back to train supervisors and support go-live, timing visits around your seasonal peaks rather than in the middle of them.
